From the Read Me included with this software: Important Information About the PowerBook 1400 Floppy Update The PowerBook 1400 Floppy Update corrects problems that could occur with DOS/Windows-formatted floppy disks on PowerBook 1400c/133 models running System 7.5.3. You should install the PowerBook 1400 Floppy Update if: * you are using a PowerBook 1400c/133 model * you are using System 7.5.3 (System 7.6 or later does not require this update) * you use DOS/Windows-formatted floppy disks to exchange data with computers running DOS or Windows Note: In most cases, the PowerBook 1400 Floppy Update is already installed on your PowerBook 1400c/133; it was installed on your hard disk at the factory. However, if you had a problem with your computer that required you to perform a "clean" installation of system software, the PowerBook 1400 Floppy Update is no longer present in your System Folder. To install the PowerBook 1400 Floppy Update, do the following: 1. Drag the "PowerBook 1400 Floppy Update" icon to your System Folder.
