Default: 75 Range: 0 to 1000 Description: This key and value set the threshold (measured in device pixels) below which CorelDRAW will render text characters as bitmaps (as opposed to curve descriptions). If it is determined that a text string is set in a font that falls within this threshold (and certain other criteria are met - see below) then the characters needed to produce the string will be rendered as bitmaps and sent to the PostScript interpreter to be cached. These bitmaps will be created using a grid relative to the resolution of the selected printer, and taking into account any available 'hints'. This has a dramatic effect on the printing speed of large text entries as well as the quality of non- resident fonts at small point sizes. To determine the point size that corresponds to a particular threshold setting at a certain resolution, use the following formula: PSBitmapFontSizeThreshold X 72 --------------------------------------------- Resolution of selected device Conditions: the font is not designated as resident no scale or skew has been applied no non-linear transformations (envelope) have been applied no outline has been applied the text object has a uniform fill the 'Fit to page' and 'Scale' print options are disabled EPSImageHeaderHighResolution=? Default: 75 dpi ("high" resolution, when this line is not present or left without a value) Range: 30 - 1000 Description: Overrides the 'High' resolution used for image headers for an EPS export (i.e.'High resolution' button must be selected in the EPS Export options dialog). This entry is in dpi. UseClippingForFills=? Default: 3 Range: 0=never, 1=Preview only, 2=print only, 3=always Description: Flag to use or disable Windows clip regions for rendering exotic fills . This flag has been added to allow disabling of Windows clipping regions which are poorly supported by some esoteric screen drivers (mostly Windows accelerator boards). Instead of using clipping paths for filling objects, the program will use the old, 2-pass fills. Note that clip regions are never used to fill text objects. TTFOptimization=? Default: 1 Range: 1(default) - optimizes Truetype display; 0 - no optimization is done Description: This is a fallback switch to be used if the new TrueType optimization methods fails on certain systems. FILTERS: For use with IMPPCX.DLL 3.00 Rev B+ (not currently shipping with Rev.B) [CorelPCXImport] UseResolution=? default= 0 0- (NO) The filter will ignore the X and Y values supplied in the .PCX file. This means that the file will import 'Fit to Page' however, the aspect ratio will be maintained. 1- (YES) The filter will use the X and Y values supplied in the .PCX file. The aspect ratio of the file MAY be distorted. If this is the case change the UseResolution value to 0. To use this switch you must add " [CorelPCXImport] " to the CORELDRW.INI manually. If the section is NOT in the CORELDRW.INI or UseResolution is set to 0.
