# 3108- Error Obtaining License (-14)

If the message "Error Obtaining License (-14)" is generated when launching CorelDRAW  3 for
UNIX, this indicates that a BADHOST has been specified in the LICENSE.DAT file.  There are
two issues which may cause this problem. 

1. The license file was generated on a server with a host name of (host1) then the file was moved
to a machine with a host name of (host2).  This is not a valid  move, you must leave the
LICENSE.DAT file on the machine in which it was created.  To confirm the host name, type
hostname or uname (see your system manual) then compare this string to the one in the
LICENSE.DAT file.  If they are different, you will need to recreate the license file on the machine
from which you plan to use as the license server.

2. The license file was generated on a machine which the host name has changed since the initial
licensing.  If this is the case then run the WIXLICENSE program again with the new host name.
