# 3109- Error Obtaining License (-16)

If the message "Error Obtaining License (-16)" is generated when launching CorelDRAW  3 for
UNIX, this may indicate that CorelDRAW cannot read the license file.  

This error is usually the result of one of the following:

          The license file does not exist.
          The license file is corrupt.
          The license file does not have read permissions.

If the file does not exist then create it using the WIXLICENSE program.  If the license file is
corrupt then recreate it using the license program.  If the license file does not have read
permissions then change the permissions, i.e. chmod  666.
