1.  If you would like to see the outline of the object as you are moving it in CorelDRAW 6 for
MacIntosh, CONTROL click the Pick tool, and click Properties.  Enable the Draw Objects When
Moving check box, and set the Delay to Draw when moving to 0.100.
     
2.  If you want the CorelDRAW 6 for MacIntosh  rulers to be closer to the page, SHIFT click and
drag the rulers anywhere on the page.  This can be done individually, or by following the same
steps above, click the small box where the two rulers intersect and drag them together.
     
3.  If you would like to wrap Paragraph Text  around an object in CorelDRAW 6 for MacIntosh, 
click the object with the Pick tool.   CTRL click the object, and click Properties, General.  Enable
the Wrap Paragraph Text check box.
     
4.  To insert a page in the document,  click the + symbol by the page indicator.  Press either
PAGE UP or PAGE DOWN if you are on the first or last page, respectively.
     
5.  The status bar can be easily customized by CTRL clicking the Status bar and clicking the
desired options.
     
6. CTRL click a blank section of the working page to bring up a context menu to allow you to
Save, Import, Export, Preview, Print, etc.
     
7.  Press SHIFT, and drag the side handle of an object to increase its horizontal dimensions in
100% increments or the top or bottom handle to resize vertically in 100% increments, or a corner
handle to resize the entire object in 100% increments.  Holding CTRL, will resize the object,
leaving the object centered at the same time.
             
8.  If you are unsure about a particular option listed in a dialog box, click the Question Mark, this
will launch the help topics with the associated coach marks.

9.  Even novice users can obtain professional results by taking advantage of the presets tool found
in the Tools menu.   Add preset effects like drop shadows and unique fountain fills to a selected
object. It also lets you record operations and create macros to apply to objects, such as moving,
stretching, filling, etc. Use the RollUp to change the selected preset or to create the own.
     
10.  Toolbars can be turned on or off by CTRL clicking any of the buttons on the Toolbars.  It is
possible to further customize the interface by dragging the Toolbox out on the page so that it is
floating, or docking it to the button bar along the top, bottom, or sides of the screen.

11.  To select single objects from a grouped object, press CTRL,  SHIFT, and click the individual
objects within the group.



12.  The CorelDRAW 6 for MacIntosh screen is a great source of access to dialogs and functions
if you know where to double-click or what key to hold when clicking.  Double-click access for
CorelDRAW 6 for MacIntosh  is provided on the following areas of the screen:

          To access the Page Layout dialog box, double-click the page shadow of  the CorelDRAW
     6 for MacIntosh  document.
     
          If you would like quick and easy access to the Grid and Scale Setup,  double-click either
     the horizontal or vertical ruler.
          
          Double-clicking  the Pick tool will select all of the objects on the current page.
     
          Double-clicking  the Shape tool automatically launches the Node Edit RollUp.
     
          Double-clicking  the Rectangle tool automatically creates a rectangle to act as a page
     frame
