1. If you would like to see the outline of the object as you are moving it in CorelDRAW 6 for MacIntosh, CONTROL click the Pick tool, and click Properties. Enable the Draw Objects When Moving check box, and set the Delay to Draw when moving to 0.100. 2. If you want the CorelDRAW 6 for MacIntosh rulers to be closer to the page, SHIFT click and drag the rulers anywhere on the page. This can be done individually, or by following the same steps above, click the small box where the two rulers intersect and drag them together. 3. Even novice users can obtain professional results by taking advantage of the presets tool found in the Tools menu. Add preset effects like drop shadows and unique fountain fills to a selected object. It also lets you record operations and create macros to apply to objects, such as moving, stretching, filling, etc. Use the RollUp to change the selected preset or to create the own. 10. Toolbars can be turned on or off by CTRL clicking any of the buttons on the Toolbars. It is possible to further customize the interface by dragging the Toolbox out on the page so that it is floating, or docking it to the button bar along the top, bottom, or sides of the screen. 11. To select single objects from a grouped object, press CTRL, SHIFT, and click the individual objects within the group. 12. The CorelDRAW 6 for MacIntosh screen is a great source of access to dialogs and functions if you know where to double-click or what key to hold when clicking.
