If you are not able to install successfully with the Installer, follow these steps to manually install
the application:

1.  Drag the COREL folder from CD-ROM #1, to the hard drive on the MacIntosh.

2. Open the COREL folder.  The files from each of the following folders must be copied into the
corresponding folders, in the SYSTEM Folder on the hard drive:

          EXTENSIONS
          PREFERENCES
          START-UP
          SYSTEM


To do this, Open each folder and select the items within that folder.  Drag them to the appropriate
folder within the SYSTEM Folder.  For example, move the contents of the STARTUP folder, that
you just dragged over, to the STARTUP folder in the SYSTEM folder on your hard drive. The
EXTENSIONS must be copied to the SYSTEM folder when it is closed.  Make sure that ONLY
the items within the folders are moved, do not move the folders themselves, or existing folders
may be replaced.  After copying the contents of these folders, the folders must be removed from
the COREL folder on the hard drive.

3.  Drag the Corel Standard  Font Set & the Corel Template Fonts  suitcase, on the CD-ROM,
from the FONTS/TRUE TYPE FONTS/FONT GROUPS folder, on to the closed SYSTEM
folder.  Click OK to the message "Fonts need to be stored in the Fonts folder in order to be
available to the Macintosh.  Put these fonts into the Fonts folder?". 

4.  Drag the Corel Standard Symbols suitcase from the FONTS/TRUE TYPE
FONTS/SYMBOLS folder on to the closed SYSTEM folder. Click OK to the message "Fonts
need to be stored in the Fonts folder in order to be available to the Macintosh.  Put these fonts
into the Fonts folder?"

5.  Restart the MacIntosh with Extensions off.  This is done by holding SHIFT while restarting.  
Once the system has restarted, launch CorelDRAW and allow the application to customize the
Preferences file for your computer.  

6. Restart the MacIntosh and launch the application. 

Installing Corel  WordPerfect :
1.  Drag the Corel WordPerfect 3.5 folder to the hard drive.

2. Open the COREL folder.  The files from each of the following folders must be copied into the
corresponding folders, in the SYSTEM Folder on the hard drive:

          EXTENSIONS
          PREFERENCES
          START-UP
          SYSTEM

To do this, Open each folder and select the items within that folder.  Drag them to the appropriate
folder within the SYSTEM Folder.  For example, move the contents of the STARTUP folder, that
you just dragged over, to the STARTUP folder in the SYSTEM folder on your hard drive. The
EXTENSIONS must be copied to the SYSTEM folder when it is closed.  Make sure that ONLY
the items within the folders are moved, do not move the folders themselves, or existing folders
may be replaced.  After copying the contents of these folders, they may be removed from the
WORDPERFECT 3.5 folder on the hard drive.

3. Drag the VOICES folder into the EXTENSIONS folder found in the SYSTEM folder.

4. Check to see if there is a WORDPERFECT folder within the PREFERENCES folder on your
hard drive.  If so, open it and replace the Preferences (USA) file before launching Corel
WordPerfect.
     
5. Restart the MacIntosh.
