# 2902- Installing Corel GALLERY  for Macinstosh

To use Corel Gallery 2, perform the following steps:

1.  Double-click the Install Icon to start the installation. Click Install.  After the installation process
has completed, you will be prompted to restart the computer. 

2.  Once the computer has restarted, locate the GALLERY20 folder on your hard drive and open it.  In
this folder, you will see 3 icons, Gallery 2.0, Gallery Quick Help, and Gallery Help.  Click the Gallery
2.0 icon.  Click File, Get Info.  Adjust the preferred memory to 6000K, and close the dialog box.

3.  Double-click the Gallery 2.0 icon to launch the application.

4.  When the application has launched, click Image. 

5.  Click Desktop, and double-click the COREL CD-ROM icon.  Double click the CLIPART folder.  

6.  Click the desired image, and click OK.  At this point, you will see another window with a status bar
at the top, indicate the rendering of the CMX file.

7.  After the image has been rendered, click File, Export.

8.  Click the desired format for Export, as well as the destination for the new file.  If you are uncertain
as to which file format to use, consult the chart at the end of this document.

9.  Once you have selected the desired options, click Export.   If the Export button is grayed out, it is
because you have selected the CD-ROM as your destination. 

10.The image will be written to the hard drive. It can now be imported  into another application.
