This document contains information about viewing, accessing and using clipart & photos in Corel Print House 2.0. Note: Before accessing the clipart & photos, ensure Corel Print & Photo House is correctly installed and the CD-ROM is in the drive. Accessing and Viewing clipart & photos: Note: Photos are accessed and viewed in the same manner as clipart. 1. Launch Corel Print House 2.0. 2. If the Create Wizard dialog box opens, press ESC. 3. On the Notebook, click Add Things. If you wish to return to this Notebook, click the gold key on the toolbar. 4. Click Catalog. 5. Click Clipart , or click Photos. 6. Click the desired category, and click OK. 7. Click the clipart image, and drag it onto the page. Alternatively, right-click the thumbnail and click Select. Note: If you create a document using the wizard method, you can import additional clipart & photos, by clicking Add Things. Importing Clipart & Photos into Corel Print House 2.0: 1. Open a blank document or an existing project. 2. Click File, Import. 3. In the Look In list box, click the drive and folder location where the clipart file is stored, i.e.; D:\CLIPART\ANIMALS\BEAR.CMX 4. By default, All Files will be selected. Change this to reflect the appropriate file type, and enable the Preview check box. 5. Click the desired file, and click Import. 6. If an additional dialog box opens, click Help for more information. Importing Clipart & Photos files from other applications into Corel Print House 2.0: Corel Print House 2.0 can import the following file formats: JPEG bitmaps(JPG) Windows Bitmap (BMP) PaintBrush (PCX) CompuServe Bitmap (GIF) Tiff Bitmap (TIF) Kodak Photo-CD Image (PCD) Corel Presentation Exchange 6.0 (CMX) Corel Presentation Exchange 5.0 (CMX) Windows Metafile (WMF) Enhanced Windows Metafile (EMF) WordPerfect Graphic (WPG) Corel PHOTO-PAINT 6.0 (PCT) Adobe PhotoShop (PSD) Using Corel Print House 2.0 Clipart & Photos in other applications: Corel Print House 2.0 is not fully OLE 2 compliant. Therefore, it is not always possible, to copy and paste images from Corel Print House into other applications. In order to use clipart and photos from Corel Print House 2.0 in other applications, you must save the file in a file format that the other application recognizes. For more information, consult the target application's documentation. To Export Clipart & Photo Images: 1. Open a blank Corel Print House document. 2. Drag the desired clipart or photo onto the document. 3. Click File, Save As. 4. Click the drive and folder to Save the project in. By default, the \PRINT & PHOTOHOUSE\MY PROJECTS folder is selected. 5. Type a file name and choose an export file format. Note: Save the file in a format the other application will be able to read. If you are unsure as to what format will work, try using Windows Bitmap (BMP) or Windows Metafile (WMF). 6. Click Save. Click Help for additional information if another dialog box opens. 7. From the target application, import, open or insert this file. Consult the target application's documentation for further instructions about inserting files. Transferring Images to Corel Photo House: 1. Click the images you wish to copy. 2. Click Edit, Copy. 3. Open Corel Photo House. 4. Click File, New from Clipboard.
