Interactive Trouble Shooting Guide

If the installation fails again or an error occurs search the hard drive for the WPI7.LOG (For the Corel WordPerfect Suite 7) or COI7.LOG (For Office Professional 7).

Open the .LOG file into WordPad (or any other ascii text editor) and see if there is a record of files that did not copy correctly during the copy file process. If the .LOG file reports any damaged files. Delete the files in question and manually copy them from the CD to the corresponding directories in the hard drive.

No Files Were Logged

After the files have been re-copied from the CD try the installation again using the “SETUP.EXE /COPYVERIFY” command.

Did the installation complete successfully?

YES NO
