This patch contains a fix for the problem of importing EPS files with no
image header into Corel Ventura v4.2.

This patch includes:

Cvpeps.exe    - EPS Patch for Corel Ventura 4.2

Once you have downloaded the Cvpeps.exe to your system proceed to extract the file by double clicking on the file or by typing the name of the executable from a DOS prompt. Once the file has been extracted you will find the following two files: 

Corelvp.exe    - EPS Patch for Corel Ventura 4.2
Readnow.txt    - The Readme.txt will explain how to install the EPS patch.

Fixchp.exe    - Is an executable program that will correct file pointers for a Ventura chapter or publication for version 4.2 or older. In many situations it is worthwhile to use this utility before loading version 4.2 or older files into Corel VENTURA 7.

To use this utility place Fixchp.exe in the same directory as the chapter or publication, and at a DOS command prompt type Fixchp.exe FILENAME.CHP or Fixchp.exe FILENAME.PUB. After hitting ENTER a message will indicate if the file was updated.
