# 5505- Printing to Different Orientations in Corel VENTURA  5

Publications containing chapters with different page orientations may not print correctly if the
orientation of the first chapter is the same as the orientation currently set in the printer driver.

To resolve this, perform the steps in either method.


Method 1
1.  Close Corel VENTURA  5.

2.  Backup the CORELPRN.INI file.  This file is located in the \COREL50\CONFIG directory
assuming that the default installation settings were used.

3.  Open the CORELPRN.INI file in Notepad.

4.  In the [Config] section, change the line WarnBadOrientation=1 to WarnBadOrientation=0.

5.  Click File, Save and exit Notepad. 

6.  Restart Corel VENTURA.

Note:     This will disable the warning message for all applications in the CorelDRAW  Suite. 


Method 2
1.  Prior to printing the publication, click File, Print, Setup.

2.  Set the orientation in the printer driver to the opposite orientation of the first chapter.  

3.  When the Bad Orientation message is generated, click Yes.

4.  Continue printing.
