# 5521- "Invalid Settings" Error Message If the message, "This frame has text which won't fit on any page due to invalid tag/column settings. Change the tag/column settings so that it can format correctly." is generated you have an invalid setting. Resolving the invalid paragraph/frame setting Locate the page in which this message is being generated. This can be done be starting at page 1, and pressing PAGE DOWN a page until you receive the message. Click OK to clear the message, and note the page you are on. To determine which frame or paragraph is causing the message to appear, perform the following: 1. If you have set the break option to Keep with next paragraph, every paragraph will chase after each following paragraph, resulting in nothing being placed on any page. Disable this option by clicking Format, Paragraph, Alignment, Breaks. 2. If the interline spacing contains a value that is too high, the text is forced out of the normal boundaries of a free frame. Try decreasing the interline spacing for the paragraph. 3. If the point size of the font is too large, it may exceeds the boundaries of the free frame. Try reducing the point size of the text. 4. If you have a lot of free frames that are overlapping each other, Corel VENTURA may not be able to properly adjust, and format the frames due to various frame and paragraph attribute settings. Click Format, Frame, General , and disable the Flow Text Around Frame option. 5. If you place text inside a frame, or box text, and reduce the size of the frame or box you may experience this message. With the Pick tool, click the upper portion of the frame. and increase the size of the frame. 6. This may occur if you create a caption for a frame. Click the Selection tool, click the caption, and increase the size of the caption frame until the message goes away. You may also decrease the above and below space for the two paragraphs inside the caption frame. 7. This message may also occur if you place another frame on top of a frame which contains text. Move the frame on top, so that the text in the frame underneath now displays.
