Notes on this patch file.

This patch file replaces the vpshell.dll file installed with Ventura 7.  The file will not fix any publications that have been previously copied using the Ventura 7 Copy With Links command.  However, this patch should prevent any future corruption or loss of files in using Copy with Links.

It is assumed that users are somewhat familiar with the functionality of Windows Explorer, please consult your online help for assistance is doing copying, pasting and renaming files.

Installation Instructions:

1. Execute the archive copylink.exe and save the files to a temporary locations.  Make note of where the files have been stored.

2. Rename the vpshell.dll file located in your \Corel\Ventura7\Programs folder to vpshell.old.  

Note:  It may be necessary to reboot Windows in order to rename the file.  Once Windows has been rebooted, do not right click at any point.  Right clicking will cause the vpshell.dll to become active and the system will have to be rebooted again before renaming will be permitted.

3. Copy the vpshell.dll file from the temporary location above to \Corel\Ventura7\Programs folder.
