Note This guideline applies to any products offered for sale under a site-license. This guideline does not apply to an application that is sold only at retail to consumers for a single user license, such as a game.
Your application should collect the user name or Personal ID (PID) information the first time the application is run, not during installation.
If you are sure that your application will be installed only on single-user computers, this is not necessary.
