Welcome to the Storage/SCSI Hard Drive Self-Test Procedures for the Microsoft^® Windows^® 98 and Windows NT^® 4.0 operating systems! (Derivative devices only) When your hardware completes the Microsoft Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL) tests, you will receive a Test Report which includes technical feedback on any problems found by WHQL.

When your hardware completes WHQL testing and passes, you will receive the following:

• A signed Logo License Agreement, with a Logo Kit containing the Logo camera-ready artwork.
• Inclusion of your product on the Microsoft Hardware Compatibility List (HCL).
• Distribution of your driver (if applicable) on the Microsoft Windows Driver Library (WDL).

WHQL will acknowledge all Test Submissions within three (3) days of receipt via electronic mail. Submission ID numbers and missing items (if any) will be listed. Allow 10 days for submission processing. If you send a Test Submission to WHQL and DO NOT receive confirmation e-mail, please contact whqlinfo@microsoft.com with the keyword STATUS REQUEST in your Subject line. In the body of the mail, include the type of equipment, date shipped, and how to contact you. Customers can also check the Submission Status page at www.microsoft.com/hwtest/ for the most current Submission related information.
