This text file last modified 2/15/95 Deactivated MS Mail for PC Networks Application Notes ===================================================== The method by which Microsoft updates the Microsoft Mail for PC Networks program files has changed. Updates will no longer be released as application notes (appnotes). Instead, the update information will be documented by the knowledge base and the files posted on the different electronic bulletin boards and the FTP server. All other information-type appnotes will remain. Likewise, any appnotes that have not had updates will remain on this FTP server. All of these files listed in this text file are available in the /softlib/mslfiles directory of this Microsoft FTP server. For added convenience to our customers, the files will be placed under the /bussys/mail/pcmail-public/updates directory. When in doubt, the you may assume the files located in /softlib/mslfiles are the most up to date. Note: ----- The files themselves are self-extracting archives ending in the .EXE extension. The subdirectories containing these files may also show the .EXE extension. Since this method of showing the files may be confusing, please do not try to FTP "get" the subdirectory rather than the actual file itself. The following appnotes have been "deactivated". This means these programs have been updated since they were originally published as appnotes. The appnotes have been removed from the FTP server. WA0726 -- Mac Client for PC Mail replaced by MACLIENT.HQX WA0760 -- MSSFS.DLL replaced by MSSFS.EXE WA0843 -- ADMIN.EXE replaced by ADMUPD.EXE WA0891 -- EXTERNAL.EXE replaced by EXTUPD.EXE WA0951 -- SRVMAIN.EXE replaced by SRVUPD.EXE WA0972 -- MSRMT.DLL replaced by MSRMT.EXE ============================================================= THE INFORMATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.
