As "actual" grows closer to "limit" * then the command snaadmin query_buffer_availability will start * to show decreasing values for "buf_avail". * * ERROR Description: * * CAUSE: * The problem occurs when an application using the back level APPC * interface (Sybase in this case) is receiving signals (to notify * the application of other work from clients for instance). If one * of these signals occurs at a certain time during the processing * of the close at the end of each transaction then it is possible * for CS/AIX to lose an internal message that it is sending. There * are no other symptoms, the applicaiton's conversation completes * correctly. * * * included in this updated module are fixes for the following APARs: * * iy35728 sna_mux * *+----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ * * INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: * __________________________ * * iy35728.tar.Z ("this efix" in the steps below) is a compressed tar archive * file containing the updated modules and this readme. * * * To install this efix: * _____________________________ * * ** Downloading the file: * * 1) Be SURE to download this efix in BINARY format. * * 2) Check the output of sum against the updated module after * uncompressing and untarring this efix.
