22.13 Control Center Troubleshooting on UNIX Based Systems

If you are unable to start the Control Center on a UNIX based system, set the JAVA_HOME environment variable to point to your Java distribution:

• If java is installed under /usr/jdk118, set JAVA_HOME to /usr/jdk118.
• For the sh, ksh, or bash shell:

     export JAVA_HOME=/usr/jdk118.
  

• For the csh or tcsh shell:

     setenv JAVA_HOME /usr/jdk118
