When using an information catalog that is located on a DB2 UDB for OS/390 system, case insensitive search is not available. This is true for both a simple search and an advanced search. The online help does not explain that all searches on a DB2 UDB for OS/390 information catalog are case sensitive for a simple search. Moreover, all grouping category objects are expandable, even when there are no underlying objects.
