This file contains additional information
that was not included in the Release Notes shipped in FixPak 9 for DB2
OLAP Server Version 7.1.
Update to supported software:
Both the OLAP Setup and User's Guide
and the FixPak 9 Release Notes incorrectly state that DB2 OLAP Server 7.1
supports AIX 4.3.3 or later. On AIX, DB2 OLAP Server 7.1 only
supports AIX 4.3.3; AIX 5L is not supported.
Known problems:
On Windows, MaxL might stop working if you
followed this sequence:

You installed only the GA-level clients on
a Windows computer.
-
You installed FixPak 9.
-
You ran the FixPak 9 installation program
again and installed server components.
The workaround is to uninstall DB2 OLAP Server,
reinstall the GA-level components including the server components, and
then reapply FixPak 9. (IBM5640)
