The only reasonable exit point for that is, I think, RACROUTE REQUEST=VERIFY pre-processing, ICHRIX01. As far as I know, IBM does not provide a sample of such an exit, and personally (and as a RACF designer) I would not recommend using one for this purpose. Instead, in the copy of the database that I use for testing, I would specify SETR NOINACTIVE to avoid revocation for inactivity. In addition, if I did not want users' passwords expiring, I would use SEARCH to build a clist containing PASSWORD USER(xxx) NOINTERVAL commands for all the users in the test database and run it before they try logging on (except for the one SPECIAL user that will have to logon to do this work, of course). Thus: SEARCH CLASS(USER) CLIST('PASSWORD USER(' ') NOINTERVAL') EXEC EXEC.RACF.CLIST Walt Farrell, RACF Design, IBM Internet: wfarrell@us.ibm.com IBMMAIL: USIB3H89 ----- YEAR2000 CFORUM appended at 14:49:29 on 98/03/26 GMT (by CHAMC29H at ELINK Subject: RACF Installation Exit: GC28-1251 Understanding problem Ref: Append at 13:05:26 on 98/03/26 GMT (by WFARRELL at KGNVMC) Many thanks for the prompt reply.
