In a collection, you can override the attributes of any of the collection's
sub-elements. The override is local to the collection and does not affect
other instances of the data element being overridden. This enables
you to, for example, specify a different implementation class for this collection
only. The Property View displays the overridden attributes and their values
in the Override property.
- In the CHA Data view or Outline view, right-click
the collection in which you want to implement the override.
- Select Override attribute.
- From the list of data elements contained within the collection,
select the one that has the attribute you want to override.
- From the list of attributes, select the one you want to override.
- In Properties View, expand the Override property and expand the
data element containing the attribute you want to override.
- Click the attribute.
- Type or select the override value.
