If you use the Websphere Studio Application Developer
Integration Edition, you can create a business process node by the following
steps.
To create a Single Action EJB node with the Graphical Builder,
do the following:
From the Graphical Editor view of the Graphical Builder, select BPNode under
the CompositonNode and then click the presentation
node that will call this business process. The business process
node appears in the Business Logic box and a link is generated between the
presentation node and the business process node.
Notes:
You probably see an exclamation mark on the business process node. You
can put your cursor on the exclamation mark and see the help information that
indicates you need to associate the business process node with a BPEL file.
Double-click the business process node. The Business
Process Node Dialog box pops up.
Define the business process node:
If you already have a business process to use with this business process
node, click Browse and locate your BPEL file. The process
name and context name defined in the BPEL file are displayed. Click OK to
close the dialog box.
Notes:
You probably see a yellow left arrow between the business process node
and the presentation node. You can put your cursor on the yellow left arrow
and see the help information. The help information indicates you need to define
the link between the business process node and the presentation node, and
resolve the business process and WSIF Action in Struts.
Upon the generation of BPEL deployment, you can only select
EJB or SOAP.
If you do not have an existing business process to use with this business
process node, create a business process for this node:
From the Business Process Node Dialog box,
if you want to start the Business Process Extension Tool right after you create
a business process node, select the Add BTT support check box.
Click the Create button. The New
business process window appears.
Enter the package name and file name of the business process and click Next.
Select your process type and click Finish. The
Process Editor of the WebSphere(R) Studio Application Developer Integration
Edition will start automatically. You can then use the BPEL Editor and BP
Extension Tool to create the business process.
If you already have a BPEL file, from the Package Explorer view, you
can also drag and drop the BPEL file into the Graphical Editor to create a
business process node.
