In this topology, there are multiple CHA servers in a non-clustered environment with physically separate clients. This is the most complex deployment and it requires the most configuration. The CHA servers might not be identical because of differing business requirements.
This topology distributes CHA servers across the enterprise, which might include regional installations, line-of-business installations, or both. The following deployment diagram shows a regional installation, in which each CHA server handles the clients in its region.
The following diagram shows a line-of-business deployment. In this deployment, all clients for a specific business function use the same CHA server no matter where the clients are located. This differs from a regional deployment in which clients in different regions use different CHA servers for the same business function.
Both of these deployment types make heavy use of the remote aspect of the CHA.
