Creating a coordinated panel for the Desktop

There are two methods to create a coordinated panel for the Desktop. The first method is to start with an extension of the JPanel class and implement the CoordinatedPanel interface. The second method is to extend the DSECoordinatedPanel class (which includes a partial implementation of event handling and view navigation). Complete the new coordinated panel bean and drop it onto the Desktop.

The Navigation Controller in the Desktop works with coordinated panels (DSECoordinatedPanel), which are JPanel extended classes that implement the CoordinatedPanel Interface. The toolkit provides two visual coordinated panels: DSEPanel and OperationPanel. To create another coordinated panel, use one of the following methods:
