JR09287:
This directory contains the APAR fix JR09287.

This fix allows X25Call verb to be issued IMMEDIATELY after a link failure.

NOTE:
This APAR can ONLY be applied to the English version of OS/2 Access Feature Version 4.

WR20636 or  WR20636C  must have been previously applied to the target workstation or a 
code server that the target OS/2 Access Feature workstation was installed from.

INSTALLING DIRECTLY FROM THE INTERNET
To apply the update directly from the Internet to the OS/2 Access Feature Version 4 workstation:

Get the latest copy of CMFIX.EXE from the V4CMFIX subdirectory to replace your existing copy of CMFIX.EXE.
Next double-click the "Software Update" icon in the Problem Determination folder or issue CMFIX at an
OS/2 command prompt.
 
On the window titled "Software Update", select "Internet" as the
"Software update source" and click the "Find..." button.
 
Select JR09287 for the APAR to apply.
(If you remove the check mark for "Remove directory after install", a
copy of the update directory will remain on the workstation after
installation.) Then click "Get".
 
 
DOWNLOADING AND THEN INSTALLING FROM A LOCAL COPY OF THE UPDATE
If you need to download the update without using CMFIX do the following:
 
1. Make sure you have enough space to hold all the files in the IBM FTP
   site directory.
 
2. Download all the files into a \fixes\server subdirectory.  Be sure
   to use this directory structure.
 
3. When you are ready to install the update on the workstation,
   double-click the "Software Update" icon in the Problem Determination
   folder or issue CMFIX at an OS/2 command prompt.
 
   a. On the window titled "Software Update", select "Local" as the
      "Software update source" and click the "Find..." button.
   b. On the "Available Local Software Updates" window, select the
      \fixes\server subdirectory.
   c. Select "BUNDLE.LST" and click "OK".
   d. Click "OK" again on the "Software Update" window to start the
      installation of the update.
