1.0 Limitations

1.1 1.1 IBM Informix 4GL to EGL Conversion Utility User's Guide: Availability of Tech Notes

The Documentation information on page x should include the following information: "The IBM Technical Support website (http://www.ibm.com/support/us) maintains a database of Tech Notes®, which identify and provide solutions to 4GL conversion known problems."

1.2 1.2 IBM Informix 4GL to EGL Conversion Utility User's Guide: Update to Product Installation information

The Product Installation information located on page viii has changed. After Step 2 and before Step 3 you must do the following: "From the Rational Product Updater, select Preferences. Click the Restore Defaults button. Click OK."

1.3 1.3 IBM Informix 4GL to EGL Conversion Utility User's Guide: Incorrect word usage in manual

In Appendix E, Manifest File Examples, the word "configuration" is used incorrectly in this sentence: "This appendix provides template configuration files for Database Schema Extraction, Shared Library, and I4GL Application projects". The word "manifest" should be used instead, and the sentence should read: "This appendix provides template manifest files for Database Schema Extraction, Shared Library, and I4GL Application projects".

1.3 1.4 IBM Informix 4GL to EGL Conversion Utility User's Guide: Revised I4GL FORMAT section information

On page 4-20, the paragraph that reads "In the page header section, a field name is placed one after the other using the size that is greater, field name or the field on the page header and the detail section." should be replaced with this paragraph: "In the page header section, all of the field names are displayed on one row. The spacing between the field names is determined by either the size of the field name or the size of the field, whichever is greater."
