Before Installing

To install all of the products for an installation based on IBM® DB2® you need disk space of approximately:

1.3 GB based on IBM WebSphere® .
1.0 GB based on WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment.
0.8 GB based on Oracle's Oracle WebLogic Server.

Approximately 5 GB extra is required for an installation based on Oracle Database.

It is recommended to use the default installation path for all products where possible (i.e. where there is enough disk space in the default location, and the product will not conflict with any other previously installed products).

Installation Sequence: The order in which you install the third-party products is not important. Also you can, if you wish, perform all the basic product installations and then do all of the post-installation tasks together.
