Use the RTA GNT attributes to create table views, charts, and situations that monitor IMS response time item characteristics.
IDNAME Indicates the name of the specific RTA group. Valid format consists of up to eight alphanumeric characters.
IMSID The IMS Subsystem identifier. Valid format consists of up to four alphanumeric characters. Example: I61A
Input Queue Time The total time that an input message initiated by a terminal, spends in the input queue before delivery to an application program. This time includes queuing, scheduling, program load, and program initialization. Valid format is an integer in the range 0 - 99,999.9 seconds.
MVS System The MVS System Management Facility (SMF) identifier. Valid format consists of up to four alphanumeric characters. Example: SP11
Originating System Identifier Fully identifies the originating IMS subsystem. Valid format consists of up to 32 alphanumeric characters. Example: I61A:USCACO01:IMS
Output Queue Time The total time an output message spends waiting in the output message queue. Valid format is an integer in the range of 0 - 99,999.9 seconds.
Processing Time The time an IMS system takes to process a group of RTA transactions. Valid format is an integer in the range of 0 - 9,999,999.9 seconds.
Program Input Queue Time The total time an input message, that a terminal initiates, spends in the input queue before delivery to an application program. This time includes queuing, scheduling, program load, and program initialization. Valid format is an integer in the range of 0 - 99,999.9 seconds
R0 Time The internal systems application response time of a transaction. This time is the sum of the Input Queue Time (or Program Input Queue Time) and the Processing Time. Valid format is an integer in the range of 0 - 99,999.9 seconds.
R1 Time The total host response time of a transaction. This time is the sum of the Input Queue Time (or Program Input Queue Time) and the Output Queue Time. Valid format is an integer in the range of 0 - 99,999.9 seconds
RTA Group Name The name of an RTA group. Valid format consists of up to eight alphanumeric characters. Example: CLASS2
RTA Group Number An identification number of an RTA transaction group. Valid format is in a range of up to 32 integers.
Sysplex Identifier Indicates the originating sysplex for this request. Valid format consists of up to eight alphanumeric characters.
Timestamp The date and time when the monitoring agent retrieved the data. The internal representation of a timestamp value is a 16-character string (CYYMMDDHHMMSSmmm), where:
C |
Century (0 for 20th, 1 for 21st) |
YY |
Year |
MM |
Month |
DD |
Day |
HH |
Hour |
MM |
Minute |
SS |
Second |
mmm |
Millisecond |
Example: 1050329130500000 indicates March 29, 2005, at 1:05 pm.
This attribute is intended for logging and reporting data collection times rather than for creating situations. To specify a time of day for monitoring, use attributes from the Universal Time or Local Time groups. See the Tivoli Enterprise Portal help for instructions on specifying timestamp attributes in situations and queries.
