ZMPIF DELETE-Delete a Path or Device

Use this command to delete a path or device definition.

Requirements and Restrictions

Format




Path
deletes a path definition.

Name-path
is a 1- to 8-character alphanumeric path name.

Device
deletes a device definition.

Name-$device
is a 1- to 7-character alphanumeric generic device name that begins with the $ character.
