gtps4m2g | System Generation |
- When generating a subsystem that is not the basic subsystem,
you must concatenate as part of the SYSLIB DD statements, the data SYMACRO
data set created as part of the SIP run that created the basic
subsystem. This is to provide the stage I run with the LOOK BACK macro
BSSSET. This macro defines to the non-basic subsystem the support
features generated in the basic subsystem.
- The SSDEF macro must be coded to define the MDBF feature.
- Code all macros and parameters unless specifically told not to do
so.
- When coding the SIP macros for a subsystem that is not the
basic subsystem, use the basic subsystem SIP input as a base. Change
only the items required for the particular subsystem. Remember to
include the BRELN parameter in the GENSIP macro.
- Thoroughly review the SIP report generated as a result of executing the
SIP input. This could save you having to completely redo the system
generation process after you have completed all the assemblies.
