There are three ways to access information in this information center:
-
You can select
Tasks,
Concepts, or
Reference
at the left of the black bar in the masthead at the top of the screen.
-
Selecting Tasks
takes you into a structured list of
the tasks involved in setting up, running, and maintaining your system.
-
Selecting Concepts
takes you into a structured list of the concepts underlying the product.
-
Selecting Reference
takes you into a structured list of reference information you may need.
-
If you know that the information you require is in a specific book,
you can select The full library
from the navigation panel on the left,
or you can select
Library
in the black bar at the bottom of the screen.
Either of these takes you to a list of all the books in the library.
You can then look at either the HTML or the PDF version of the book.
If you choose the HTML version, you can use the book navigation tabs
in the black bar at the bottom of the screen to navigate through the book.
-
You can search for information using the search bar in the masthead
at the top of the screen.
Enter the word or words that you are looking for,
select the portion of the library that you want to search
and press Go.
Alternatively, selecting
Searches
in the black bar in the masthead
gives you access to a panel that allows you greater control
over the search arguments,
and also allows you to retrieve the results of any previous search
you have saved.
When you find an interesting page, you can select
Bookmarks
in the black bar in the masthead
and then Add/remove current page in the navigation panel,
to save a pointer to the page.
Bookmarks are saved in a cookie
so that they are preserved between browser sessions.
For more information about using the information center,
select Help
at the right-hand end of the black bar in the masthead.
Warning:
This information center makes extensive use of frames.
If you use your browser's Back
or Forward buttons,
these normally change the contents of only one of the frames
so that, in order to restore a previous state
of the information center, it may be necessary
to press the button more than once.
See Using the back button
for more information.
