Before proceeding with installation, you will need the release notes for this product. To obtain the release notes:

1. Go to the InfoCenter Web site for the IBM CrossWorlds Business Integration Library.
2. Locate the infocenter heading for the version that you are using (such as 4.1.1) and click in the drop-down box that enables you to view online documentation.
3. A navigation page will display. Expand the Release Notes category, and locate the release notes for the specific product or adapter that you are installing. The release notes provide essential information and links to other documentation you will need.

Note: If you have previously installed either IBM CrossWorlds connectors or WebSphere Business Integration Adapters, be sure you understand the requirements for upgrading before you proceed with installation of this product. If you are using InterChange Server as the integration broker, see the IBM CrossWorlds system installation guide for the supported platform. If you are using MQ Integrator as the integration broker, see the WebSphere Business Integration Adapters Implementation Guide for MQ Integrator.

To begin the installation process, do one of the following:

For AIX: Run the following commands from the directory where the files are stored:
chmod +x setupAIX.bin
./setupAIX.bin.

For Solaris: Run the following commands from the directory where the files are stored:
chmod +x setupsolarisSparc.bin
./setupsolarisSparc.bin

For Windows: Run setupwin32.exe.
