This patch fixes a problem in which a process becomes corrupt if you create, use, rename, and then delete a global task.

This patch requires a previous installation of WebSphere Business Integration Modeler Entry Edition Version 5.1.1.1 or WebSphere Business Integration Modeler Advanced Edition Version 5.1.1.1

Installing the patch

The following information describes how to apply this patch to your WebSphere Business Integration Modeler installation.

To install the patch, complete the following steps:

  1. Download the ModelerPatch-5.1.1.101-p001.exe file.  This file is a self-extracting ZIP, which contains the patch update site.
  2. Double-click the downloaded ModelerPatch-5.1.1.101-p001.exe file, and unzip the files into a temporary directory.  The rest of these instructions assume that the files have been unzipped to C:\temp\.
  3. Open Business Integration Modeler.
  4. Click Window > Show View > Other. The Show View window opens.
  5. Select Update Manager\Feature Updates and click OK. The Feature Updates view opens.
  6. In the Feature Updates view, navigate to C:\temp\ModelerPatch\5.1.1.101-p001\IBM WebSphere Business Integration Modeler Patch\WebSphere Business Integration Modeler Patch 5.1.1.101-p001.
  7. Right-click the WebSphere Business Integration Modeler Patch 5.1.1.101-p001 feature, and select Show Details.  The Preview view opens and shows the feature information.
  8. In the Preview view, click Install Now.
  9. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. During the installation, you must confirm that you want to install an unsigned feature.
  10. When you are asked if you want to restart the workbench, click Yes.

The patch is now installed.
