SCA Module settings

Use this page to view the Service Component Architecture (SCA) module details, including its exports and imports, and to view and edit its export and import bindings.

To view this administrative console page, click Applications > SCA Modules > module_Name.

Important: Some SCA modules are associated with a process application; they provide the Advanced Integration service functionality for that process application. If an SCA module is associated to a process application, do not use this page in the administrative console to manage its state. Instead, use the Process Admin Console. The state of any SCA module in a process application is managed as part of the overall process application state within the Process Admin Console.
An SCA module is connected to Advanced Integration service requesters through exports and to Advanced Integration service providers through imports. Both imports and exports have interfaces, which are abstract definitions of access points. The SCA Module settings page lists the set of import and export components within the module and all the associated interfaces and bindings. For modules that are part of a process application, the import and export binding names include information about the associated process application or toolkit (for example, SCA [SCAM2/PA#BILLDISP/SS#6.0BDS/T#Main/Export1].

Business object parsing mode

Indicates the business object parsing mode for this module. The parsing mode can be either Eager or Lazy. A module that was created in a version of IBM® Integration Designer before version 7 will run in the Eager parsing mode (without any changes required). By default, modules and libraries that are created in IBM Integration Designer version 7 and later versions will be assigned either Eager or Lazy parsing mode depending on a number of factors, such as the parsing mode of existing projects in your workspace or the parsing mode of dependent projects or other projects in the same solution. For details about business object parsing modes, see the topic "Configuring the business object parsing mode of modules and libraries" in the IBM Business Process Manager information center.
