Configuration Settings
- Metrics
- A list of measurements used to determine the weight and their associated proportions. You can set multiple
metrics, the proportion total must always equal 100.
- Metric -- the metric name. An identifier for the metric collector that will collect measurements
to determine the weight of the server. Please refer to the
Load Balancer Administration Guide for more
information regarding metrics.
- Proportion -- sets the importance of the metric relative to the other metrics when calculating
weights..
- Request -- A string that represents a valid application request to be sent by the metric
collector to an application in order to measure application response time or availability.
- Response -- A string that represents the response that the metric collector should expect from an
application. The metric collector compares the response it receives from the application to the
response string to determine application response time and availability.
