This package is a DLL upgrade to Version 3, Release 1, Level 3,

and should only be used on top of IP21295



First Get IP21295 from index.storsys.ibm.com and install API.

   api313b.exe is a self extracting exacutable.



For users that already have Version 3 release 1 PTF 3 
installed on their machines :

replace the existing adsmv3.dll and dscameng.txt 

with the files adsmv3.dll and dscameng.txt from this package.



This package includes the following files :

adsmv3.dll   - api DLL.

adsmv3.lib - implib file for Microsoft Visual c++ compiler.

dscameng.txt - messages file.

api313b.txt - this readme file.



To get the package switch to bin mode and get api313b.exe.

The package is compressed.


Fixes in this package
----------------------
IC20453 - API and Backup/Archive Client could not share the same 
password entry in the registry because of incompatible passwords.

IC20917 - The API returned the 'API:' string in the fsType to version 2 apps,
          thus creating an incompatability with respect to fsType for those
          applications that used this field to identify their file spaces.
