WebCS Application Read me
1. Run the application:
To run the WebCS application simply double click the wbCSApp.bat file found in the bin folder.
2. Domain Setup:
After clicking the bat file a Java window will appear (see figure 1). Either select a previous entry or enter in the IP address of one cluster in the WebCS domain. You may enter the IP address as a textual representation like ras10c0.storage.tucson.ibm.com or the IP address itself for example 9.11.242.46. After entering the IP press the next button. You may also delete previous entries you no longer need by selecting the desired entry and pressing delete.

3. Server Setup:
After clicking next on figure 1. a new Java window will appear (see figure 2). Using the radio buttons select the server you wish to connect to (either serverA or serverB). In the user name field either select a user previously entered or add a new user. In the password field, enter your password for the selected user. Once selections are made press the connect button. You may also delete unneeded users by selecting the user and pressing the delete button

4. Ready to go:
After pressing connect on figure 2 the WebCS application will load. This software is an exact replica of the WebCS applet, except we will control the Java level used and no browser is required.
5. Something goes wrong:
If a problem should arise please follow the normal IBM procedure as well as saving the wbCSAppStdOut.log and wbCSApp.log. These log files will be useful in debugging problems. It is important to grab them when the problem occurs and not after closing the application and reopening it as data can be over written.
If a connection type problem occurs (e.g. we do not recognize the IP entered) its worth retyping the password entered, verifying you are authenticated through any firewalls, and perhaps entering the IP in a different form (e.g. 9.11.242.26 instead of ras10c0.storage.tucson.ibm.com or instead of just ras10c0).
