Special updates for Version 5, Release 3, Modification 6.3

Tivoli Storage Manager 5.3.6.3 storage agents and 5.3.6 backup archive clients for selected platforms are supported with version 5.4 Tivoli Storage Manager, and are compatible with 5.4 and 5.5 Tivoli Storage Manager servers

Tivoli Storage Manager version 5.4 and 5.5. servers are compatible with storage agents at level 5.3.6.3 and backup archive clients at level 5.3.6 for the operating systems listed below. Support ends 90 days after the vendor extended defect support ends for the operating systems (noted below).

Windows 2000 - July 2010
Solaris 8 - March 2009
Linux x86 RHEL 3 - October 2010
