DELETE DRIVE (Delete a Drive from a Library)

Use this command to delete a drive from a library. A drive that is in use cannot be deleted.

Note:: All paths related to a drive must be deleted before the drive itself can be deleted.

Privilege Class

To issue this command, you must have system privilege or unrestricted storage privilege.

Syntax

>>-DELete DRive--library_name--drive_name----------------------><

Parameters

library_name (Required): Specifies the name of the library where the drive is located.
drive_name (Required): Specifies the name of the drive to be deleted.
