SET SQLMATHMODE (Set the Mode for SQL Arithmetic)

Use this command to round or truncate decimal numbers for SQL arithmetic.

Privilege Class

Any administrator can issue this command.

Syntax

                    .-Truncate-.
>>-Set SQLMATHmode--+----------+-------------------------------><
                    +-Truncate-+
                    '-Round----'

Parameters

Truncate: Specifies that decimal numbers are truncated according to DB2^(R) SQL formulas. TRUNCATE is the default.
Round: Specifies that decimal numbers are rounded according to DB2 SQL formulas.

Examples

Task

Set SQL arithmetic mode to TRUNCATE.

Command:: set sqlmathmode truncate
