The query backupset command queries a backup set from a local file, tape device, or the server. See Location for information on how to specify supported tape devices. This command displays the backup set name, generation date, retention, and description.
You can use this command to query backup sets on a tape device with AIX, AIX 5L, Solaris, and HP clients only.
Supported Clients
This command is valid for all UNIX clients.

Parameters
You can use these common options with the query backupset command: scrolllines and scrollprompt. See Chapter 9, Setting Processing Options for information about these common options.
