Accessing the Administrative Console

You can access the Administrative Console from any supported Web browser by performing the following steps:

1. Point your browser to the appliance at:
   http://hostname:1959/IBM200i
   

   where hostname is the host name or IP address of the appliance.

2. Type your user ID in the User Name field. The default user ID is "administrator." Note that the user ID is case sensitive.
3. Type your password in the Password field. The default password for the administrator user ID is "password." Note that the password is case sensitive.
4. Click OK.
